The Problem
Need for our shelter services has risen dramatically in the last three years, from 700 animals in our care to more than 1,500 animals in 2022. The current dog shelter has only eight kennels. Demand far outweighs our ability to house the dogs that need our help. In 2023, we were forced to turn away more than 400 dog owner surrenders. The pace this year is much worse.

For the first time, we are turning away puppies as well.
What We Need

A new shelter with 20 kennels to provide comfortable housing for dogs.

A large play yard for exercise and fresh air

Separate intake and isolation facilities to safeguard animal health.

Inviting adoption rooms for that all important meet and greet day!
