Are the dogs and cats at the same shelter?

We actually have separate shelters for our dogs and cats. And we would LOVE to have you volunteer at either or both of them!

How can I volunteer?

There are many ways to volunteer and you can check out many of the options on our Volunteer page. From fostering and feeding to clerical work and grounds maintenance, we have the opportunity you are looking for!

Tell me more about the Garage Sale

All proceeds support the dogs and cats.  Just drop in at the garage sale on any Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to see where you can help! 

 

You can help any Saturday or come in between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday.

What is the Spay/Neuter Voucher Program?

Assistance for low-income residents to spay and neuter their pets. A limited number of vouchers are free to qualifying applicants. Learn more here. 

How do I surrender a cat or dog?

If you are no longer able to care for your dog or cat and wish to surrender your pet, or you have found a stray dog or cat, we will be happy to assist you. For CATS, please click here and fill out our intake form. For DOGS, contact the Dog Shelter Manager at (360) 660-4661. 

What is the New Dog Shelter project?

​The New Dog Shelter will be a new shelter with 20 kennels to provide comfortable housing for dogs, a large play yard for exercise and fresh air, separate intake and isolation facilities to safeguard animal health, and inviting adoption rooms for that all-important meet and greet day.
